We call this style modern mountain, and we approach our work with the mission to elevate and highlight Southeastern Mountain style and influence.

PHILOSOPHY

From building elements to decorative accents, our philosophy is that interior design is ultimately experience design. We believe that the best spaces are a reflection of their occupants and their environment. Our designs start with learning about our clients and their lifestyles, their passions and their wants, and then blending aesthetics in ways to create a unique look that will continue to please for years to come.

DESIGN PROCESS

Take the fear and mystery out of creating your dream space. Our process is transparent and based on communication, learning each client’s lifestyle and designing the perfect spaces for how they live their lives.

  • Get in touch with a call, email or visit to let us know about your building, design or renovation project.

  • We come to scope out your land or property and see if our goals will align with what’s possible.

    Our design services to be on location are part of a design contract fee per property or $375 hourly cost to measure, consult and then work offsite to fulfill the vision.

    Designer fees include designer time on design services. Additional charges like assembly, delivery, 3rd party work and overseeing contractors and builders are not included.

  • We’ll present a budget proposal, timeline and any required documentation like studies, permits or stamps required by the county or state.

  • Our projects follow the scope laid our and agreed upon by both of us - that means you’ll have insight into every part of the project as it is ongoing.

  • Our clients receive steep discounts to furnish and decorate their spaces. After our work is done, we can source the perfect finishing touches for any space.

MEET THE DESIGNER

Lucy Small is an unconventional designer living a modern mountain life in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With a background in experience design and an MBA in behavioral economics, she focuses her work around her clients and their lifestyles. Accredited through the US Green Building Council in Building Construction and Design, Lucy is an expert in blending aesthetic styles with functionality.
